Hi — we're IEEBEE, an independent design studio. We make original washi tape on traditional Japanese paper with gold-foil detailing, plus notebooks and bullet journal supplies; our work has been carried by museum shops including The Met Store in New York and the LACMA Store in Los Angeles. And a good part of every week goes to reading other people's craft blogs: for the techniques, for the ideas, and honestly just for the pleasure of it.
This page is that reading list, written down. Every blog below is one our team actually reads — mostly independent makers who write full tutorials and shoot their own process photos, plus a couple of long-running editorial sites we open for the daily roundup. Nobody paid to be on this page, nothing was traded for a spot, and we haven't asked any of them for a link back. We just think they're good.
Links open in a new tab. If you keep a blog like these, scroll to the bottom — we'd love to read your work. Last checked July 2026.
The reading list
Kerry May Makes
Kerry shares creative inspiration for art journals, bullet journals, planners and travelers notebooks. Her blog also explores collage, junk journals, mixed media, scrapbooking and printable projects, with approachable ideas for creating personal and expressive pages.
All About Planners
Rachael writes from Australia about the everyday mechanics of planning: bullet journal daily spread ideas, honest pen and sticker comparisons like Inkjoy versus Pilot G2, and step-by-step Canva tutorials for making your own printables. Her free printables section is generous and genuinely useful.
Simple Life of a Lady
Em writes for busy moms, but the bullet journal archive is the reason we bookmarked her: doodle tutorials, 45 weekly spread layouts, font styles worth practising, and straight-talking supply picks for beginners. She also puts out free printables for the kids.
Crafting Cheerfully
Kimberly makes crafting feel doable — explosion boxes, treat boxes, greeting cards, paper banners — and backs the tutorials with a subscriber library of 200+ free printables, patterns and cut files. Her DIY Children's Calendar even comes in six languages.
Sunshine and Rainy Days
Bridget has been making printables since 2014, and it shows. We keep coming back for her care package box-flap designs — a themed set for every month — plus graduation party games and honest home DIY posts like painting ceiling fan blades.
C.R.A.F.T.
Jamie has been running C.R.A.F.T. since 2010, and the archive shows it: kid crafts, last-minute DIY costumes, and a big free printables section. Her seasonal roundups — back-to-school crafts, teacher gift printables — are the kind you actually make on a rainy afternoon.
Easy Peasy and Fun
Andreja has been sharing kid-friendly crafts here since 2014, and the paper side is the part we read: 100+ easy paper crafts, DIY emoji bookmarks, printable colouring bookmarks, plus step-by-step drawing tutorials. The premise is that you shouldn't need a trip to the craft store — most projects use what's already in the drawer.
Carrie Elle
Carrie's monthly journal prompts and affirmations are the posts we keep coming back to, but she also writes properly useful paper-craft pieces — 27 uses for scrapbook paper, how to store 12x12 scrapbook paper — plus free printable planner stickers and themed calendars.
The Country Chic Cottage
Angie Holden's tutorials are the ones to read when you get a new machine — Cricut, sublimation, heat presses, laser, all tested hands-on and explained plainly. She also releases free SVG cut files regularly, like her 4th of July fireworks set.
CraftGossip
Running since 2007, CraftGossip curates craft finds daily across 20+ categories — air-dry clay pot tutorials, free chunky knit blanket pattern roundups, honest beginner tool guides, plus scrapbooking and card-making archives. A good place to browse when you want ideas outside your usual craft.
5 Little Monsters
Erica Dietz has been posting free crochet, sewing and Cricut tutorials here for over twelve years. It's a yarn blog first, but her Other Crafts section is where we go — scrapbook-paper covered letters, printable bookmarks and quote cards — and the Bear of the Month series is a small joy.
Christine's Crafts
Christine crafts and gardens on a budget, and her long-running Mixed Media Card series — paint chips, flower pounding, scrap fabric — is a masterclass in making do with what's already around. Her tutorial for a miniature notebook from one sheet of copier paper is worth the visit alone.
Small Stuff Counts
Emily writes about home organization first, but her Cricut and DIY corners are where we linger — making cards with Cricut Joy, cutting your own labels, a DIY activity advent calendar, a gift-wrapping station tucked behind a door. Practical projects, plainly explained.
